Relaxation to Help You Perform at your Best

Mental health professionals agree that taking 30 minute breaks daily in an optimum relaxed state will help you focus better and avoid dangerous stress related disorders.

Our exercise will help you create your state of relaxation while using all of your senses in coordination with each other.

What are those senses;

Smell
Taste
Sight
Sound

All of these senses can be coordinated in a safe and quiet space. Make sure you are giving yourself at least 30 minutes for this exercise and that you have a comfortable chair to relax in.

For your sense of smell go to a retail store that sells incense sticks or misters ($15 on Amazon). Find the most soothing scent that you prefer.

For your sense of sound and sight use your phone and buy inexpensive virtual reality googles ($20 on Amazon and will work on iPhones and Android).

Finally search on virtual reality sites like National Geographic where you can choose anywhere you want to be in the world to view and hear. Try a beach in Fiji or a waterfall in Yosemite National Park.

Sit in your quiet space, get your incense and put on your googles and tune into your peaceful place anywhere in the world. Breath, breath and breath while clearing your head and mind. Mostly enjoy the break.
